Concurrent training, or laziness?
An excellent illustration of why separating out our training, at any age, is more effective than just smashing cardio and weights in the same session.

Briefly, when we do aerobic training our bodies produce a hormone called cAMP.
This guy turns off the hormone that is at the core of muscle building called mTOR. cAMP dampens mTOR.
Cardio messes with muscle building 6 hours before/after a session.
Lesson? Do one in the morning and the other in the evening, or put them on separate days.
Don't be lazy and combine them, because your results will suffer.
